There's No One Like Mary Gaitskill submitted by unknown on July 13, 2020, 3:59pm One of my favorite writers, Gaitskill has an incredible ability to create different characters -- each with their own, hopes, motivations, fears, opinions -- and present them without judgment. Her love for her characters comes through, and, as a reader, I find that I learn more about myself and my own biases and prejudices every time I read her work. This is one of her most famous books, and for good reason.
