COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Cinema's Scariest Monsters Face Off! submitted by Dragonessa on May 17, 2010, 12:04pm This was actually a rather good movie. I highly enjoyed it and in particular enjoyed the beautiful looking sets and creature designs. The Predators ended up being my favorite characters as I loved watching them hunt down their prey with effortless ease. The Aliens looked awesome as well. I also noticed several nods to the original Alien series. Though this movie might not be Oscar-caliber film-making, you can tell the people who made it really enjoyed making the film and their attention to detail shows in every frame. The special effects were really well done too, in particular the cloaking effect for the Predators. It was very convincing and spooky at times. All in all, this is a great film for fans of both Aliens and Predators alike. My money is on the Predator!

No one suspected this would revitalize the franchise submitted by valjean on August 28, 2018, 2:04am This movie's success, almost inadvertently, kicked off all the modern Predator movies. They made a sequel AVP2. And Predators, later. This movie showed that Predators still works post-90s, they are a cool concept, outside the confines of hero or villain, that always set up a good thriller. I remember when I watched it I was so frustrated at the cliffhanger, luckily today, the sequel is available to watch right after!

Kinda Dumb submitted by SaraP on August 5, 2022, 11:01pm It's a fun action movie, but it's no where near as good as the earlier movies in these franchises.
