COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Early R&B submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 11:39am Although this album omits my personal favorite Ronettes track (I have a soft spot for their rendition of “Sleigh Ride”), it’s a great example of early soul/R&B and shows the genres’ evolution throughout the 1960s. The singers’ individual voices and harmonies give them a completely unique sound that sets them apart from similar groups from the era, and many of the songs are effective earworms even today.
