Amazing submitted by chioma on June 26, 2017, 9:28pm Although I think the book is better, the story of the 4 asian women and their children in America is touching. I think everyone should read the book first, and then watch the movie. It somehow gave me a new outlook on life.

Love it! submitted by Adam Graham on August 28, 2018, 1:23am A wonderful movie! I highly recommend the book as well! It tells the story of generations of Asian American women and the challenges they faced. All of Amy Tan's books are great!
