COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A great live recording submitted by zackcentury on June 29, 2013, 3:44pm Production quality is great for a 1963 live album, but this has also got to be one of the best live albums I've ever heard. Some songs are upbeat, all are full of energy. An essential for any fan of soul, 60s pop, r&b.

Greatest Album Ever submitted by benmurphysmith on July 28, 2018, 12:48am Amazing!

Feels Like You're There submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 10:39am This album captures the essence of a live performance, down to the imperfect audio quality that really imparts a sense of being in a smoky club listening to one of the masters of soul music. The recording captures some of Cooke’s introductions and banter, for both better and worse, and the vocal performances have a nice energy to them.
