COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Phantom of the Opera submitted by jayendra44106 on June 24, 2011, 3:32pm It is a REEEALLY good musical. I watched it and loved it, because it is hilarious but romantic and musical at the same time. There are many memorable songs, and anyone of any age will love it.

Amazing submitted by ljq on July 21, 2011, 8:18am What do you get when you combine beautiful music, a great cast and a love story for the ages? Phantom of the Opera. The music is great, the actors perform well and the story is just magnificent of how one man loves a woman he can't have and the things he does at length to hide himself from others.

Good romance submitted by rlmorgan on July 21, 2013, 6:00pm A classic love story centered around rising opera star. Andrew Lloyd Webber is a brilliant composer and the movie does a good job of staying true to the music and the story.

Good Adaptation submitted by Meginator on July 15, 2018, 10:15pm This adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical retains its essential theatricality, which is difficult to pull off in film. The performances are fantastic and the whole production brings a new dimension to an oft-told tale.

Okay submitted by zmclaugh on July 18, 2018, 3:12pm Not the best voices.

nice adaptation submitted by jessNU on July 25, 2018, 6:50pm Better to watch the performance on stage, but they did a great job here with the film adaptation

The Phantom Of The Opera submitted by SBNB on August 18, 2018, 8:30pm This movie is just ok. Having been familiar with the music and the book long before this movie came out, I found it disappointing.

Great adaptation of an amazing musical submitted by jminlee on July 29, 2023, 9:18pm I really loved this adaptation of the phantom of the opera. The actress who plays Christine is absolutely talented, and I liked the actor's interpretation of Raoul as well. Would highly recommend.
