Hailed as the Prince of the Forest at his birth, wobble-legged Bambi the faun lives deep in the woodland with his mother. His early faunhood is filled with friends--Thumper, a jovial rabbit who says all the wrong things; Flower, a skunk with an inferiority complex; and Friend Owl, misanthrope of the treetops. As he grows, fun-and-games give way to the hardship of winter and the most terrifying, ever-looming threat to survival--man. When the hunters come, Bambi must learn to be as brave as his father The Great Prince, and lead the other deer to safety.
DVD, Region 1, NTSC, full screen (1.33:1) presentation; Dolby Digital 5.1.

Good movie submitted by gxtan on August 17, 2018, 11:33am Sweet, but sad movie about growing up and survival. Driven mostly by the animation and music, with surprisingly little dialog.

Sad and sweet submitted by lstorc on August 27, 2018, 3:49pm The characters are lovable, and the plot demonstrates the circle of life that is a bit more on the nose than Lion King.

Bambi submitted by Varshini on July 23, 2019, 8:43am My favorite movie when I was younger! Bambi is a classic Disney movie.

Sad submitted by TLW1998 on July 26, 2019, 11:46pm This one is too sad to watch again

Classic submitted by DL on August 31, 2019, 7:06pm Love the Twitter painted part and thumper.

Gorgeous art! submitted by Abbie D. on July 8, 2022, 7:21pm Part of me feels like Bambi was written more for the art and music then the story. The story is simple, it's about nature being nature and the affects man has on it. There are sad and rather intense scenes that could be scary for some young viewers, but overall very cute!
