I didn't love it, but it is okay submitted by fairytale on August 13, 2011, 2:18pm I didn't love this movie, but it is okay.

Incredibles2? submitted by mellonir on February 6, 2012, 2:36pm The Incredibles was a BLAST! from beginning to end. The extra "Jack-Jack Attack was hilarious, and it will be a crime against humanity if they don't make a sequel SOON!

Superheroes reality - fantastic! submitted by pk on July 10, 2012, 9:22pm Superheroes. Trying to save the world. Lots of action, lots of laughs. Mr. Incredible, after forced retirement, takes on mysterious work behind his wife's (Elastigirl's) back. Then all heck breaks loose when she finds out (picking a speck off his jacket "is this...rubble?") and tries to track him down. This movie is full of chases, fights, villains. It is both a wonderful straight superhero movie and a near satire of the genre.

What makes this movie so amazing is that it shows these heroes in every day life. Married. With kids. Working at an insurance company. The kids are super, too, but have crushes, get called down to the principal's office, etc. Much of the humor comes from superheroes, often in extraordinary circumstances trying to save the world, dealing with everyday stuff. The parents arguing over which highway exit to take so they can stop the robot from destroying a city. The kids asking "are we there yet" while they're in a rocket heading to that city. Hilarious!

Best character in the movie (in any animated movie, maybe) is Edna Mode - the fashion designer that used to design super hero outfits. She's so incredibly egotistical, focused on her work, "take no nonsense" and "tell it straight". Love her!

See this movie if you are ready to laugh at your heroes AND cheer them on to defeat the bad guy.

BEST MOVIE EVER! submitted by steph10 on July 16, 2012, 5:06pm This is a really good movie about a family of superheroes that try to act normal when superheroes are illegal. But it turns out that it is really hard to pretend to be normal when you are not, this family gets closer together when a supervillian attacks the city to try to be a famous superhero by defeating his own robot. This is a great family movie for all ages. You should watch it if you haven't yet.

Fun submitted by alumeng.ajl on August 4, 2012, 6:36pm The Incredibles is a fun movie for the entire family to watch together.

Ok submitted by crazypockets on July 14, 2013, 1:52pm There were some cute elements to this, but it ran a little long for me. I did like the spin of the superheros trying to be everyday people. I think it would really appeal to children and their parents, espcially the soccer mom set.

Pixar Does it Again submitted by DBJC on June 15, 2014, 1:45pm Usually I love Pixar movies, so I wasn't surprised when I liked this one too. The Incredibles is INCREDIBLE. I've had my share of superhero movies, but I've never seen or read a story about a superhero family seemingly being normal. Or trying to be, anyway. They go through the same problems that a normal family goes through, which is often ignored in superhero movies. It has enough action to keep you going, and enough story and sentimentally to keep you feeling for this family. My family watches this movie all the time and it never gets old! Sometimes we even recite our favorite quotes. I would recommend to anyone and everyone. 5/5 stars!

best ever submitted by Merjem M. on July 27, 2014, 9:34am This was sooooooooo awesome . I loved this the best movie ever i totally recommend this . I now have dreams of me and my family being superheroes . I hope they make a Incredibles 2 . I give this movie a big thumbs up.

MUST WATCH THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!

incredible! submitted by wind spirit on August 13, 2014, 5:23pm this is one of my favorite movies! Even my dad likes it, and he is very critical when it comes to movies

A Classic! Adventure + Family Movie submitted by stubleskic on June 16, 2015, 5:51pm No matter how much time goes by, I still love this movie! It's an excellent movie of adventure and the power family. Love conquers all!

Full of action submitted by kzheng on June 17, 2015, 6:13pm This movie is a great movie for families. Lots of fun and action. A family of superheroes in disguise must be superheroes again.

Kids and violence, death, and Disney... submitted by Kikumatsu97 on June 26, 2015, 1:00pm You know, I don't really think the stress of impending divorce, the panic of near death experience and the general resentful hatred from Mr. incredible's nemesis that's depicted in this movie was anything to coo about. I would put his movie in the adult section and leave it there. There's so much impropriety and not enough of a good lesson in this movie to warrant me letting my kids watch it. We've got to stop pretending that these so called "underlying" adult humor lines go over our kid's heads. I hate all the insinuations about lying, and cheating, and frankly, adult sexuality that should be skidding around on the floor of Disney Pixar's Editing room. Don't get me wrong, I like the animation, I like the story line, I even like the suspense. But I like it as an adult likes a movie for adults. Teens maybe.

Great submitted by steveiew on August 19, 2015, 2:00pm Such a good movie

Nice submitted by kelleyc on August 20, 2016, 12:47pm Pretty darn adorable.

Pixar + Superheores submitted by Meginator on June 26, 2017, 4:38pm It has been a while since I've watched this movie and I forgot how much fun it is. I liked the fact that the writers tried to dig deep into the heroes' psyches, rather than simply showing heroic feats; sure, this is the trend now, but Pixar's stab at it (predictably) nails the right combination of heart, humor, and existentialism. I do wish that the villain's storyline was more nuanced, as he could provide an interesting counterpart to the Incredibles. As it is, I appreciate that the movie tackles some more adult themes, while simultaneously appealing to audiences of all ages on different levels. Overall, it's another great film in the studio's exceptional catalog.

Great submitted by Annarborkaren on June 17, 2018, 9:56am this movie is amazing

great submitted by naetdoc on June 17, 2018, 6:27pm Good movie. Would recommend.

Great movie submitted by vulke99 on June 18, 2018, 10:18pm The family watches this movie over and over. It is action packed from beginning to end. I like how the whole family learns to work with each other and their abilities.

Great animated movie! submitted by Xris on June 19, 2018, 9:01pm It's animated, about super heroes, and features a family! Something for everyone to enjoy! The mystery about Jack-Jack's powers is a nice way to end...and to leave room for a sequel! Love it!!

age 5+ Fun family movie, best for 5/6+. Entertaining for parents too! submitted by MadMonkeyZ on June 21, 2018, 6:01pm I saw this with my 3 & 5 yr old boys who were very eager to see it on DVD. We were warned that the opening scene (with some shooting but no injuries) was violent, but I disagreed, and the kids thought it was just a game sort of thing. The only scene that they (and I) found inappropriate was the torture of Mr. Incredible. It was difficult to explain what was going on and why someone would want to hurt someone else. Otherwise I think it's fine for mature 5's, definitely 6 yr olds. My 3 yr old liked the robots, that was about it. I liked it and thought it was really cute. There are some scenes about the parents having problems (she thinks he's cheating on her) but again, my kids didn't pick up on that and it was subtle.

Great Movie! submitted by onnalyn on July 2, 2018, 3:07pm I'm 5 years old and I really liked this movie. My brother is 3 and he only liked the mama. My mom and dad liked it too. The freeze guy was my favorite.

The Best Pixar Movie submitted by lauramason89 on August 26, 2018, 11:37pm Ratatouille is a close second, but The Incredibles is definitely my all time favorite. I love how the family bond develops ovet the course of the movie, and how well they are able to work together by the end. Edna Mode is probably my favorite character of any movie (animated or not) - I just want to have 1/4 of her sass.

great! submitted by kbahleda on June 21, 2019, 3:59pm One of the best Pixar movies, love the story.

Great submitted by c_zhang on July 5, 2019, 1:01am I love the development of the characters over the course of the movie, and how the family relationships and bonds develop.

Darling… submitted by trina05 on June 30, 2022, 11:04pm “Noooo capes!” It’s funny, quirky, and full of unexpected turns. All the superheroes are forced to retire, but can they find fulfillment in the daily grind?

So original! submitted by Abbie D. on July 9, 2022, 2:35pm I adore this movie.

Excellent!!!!! submitted by suttonp on July 20, 2022, 9:40am I love this movie so much, I named my car after Edna! I've watched it untold numbers of times and it is still a blast!

love love love submitted by Bethybeth07 on August 3, 2022, 4:18pm While not ideally for young children, my then 2 year old was obsessed with this movie and watched it every day. The jokes are funny and it is action-packed. I think every family can relate to a lot of the familial relationships.

Truly incredible submitted by journeyhawthorne on August 7, 2022, 11:39am I was obsessed with this film as a teen, and still love it today. The sequel was even better, which is, frankly, incredible. Great superhero story and family film.
