typical Clements submitted by camelsamba on June 30, 2016, 8:56pm This seemed like a typical Clements book: school setting, kid who overturns the system, etc etc. Some of the timing seemed completely unrealistic - even if they were singing mostly in harmony, the staging and logistics seemed highly advanced given the amount of time they had. But it was a fun car book at the holiday season, entertaining enough for ages 12-18 plus parents.

Annoyance: the copy from our library had a scratch or something on the first disc so the last track was garbled. Of course that's the one where the conflict peaks. We were able to figure out the most of it, but still frustrating.

Maybe spoilerish: the synopsis implies the kids know this could be last concert because of budget cuts, but they don't. How do publishers get away with inaccurate blurbs? Not the first time I've seen one.
