It's a Hoot submitted by camelsamba on June 20, 2020, 8:19pm Roy gets drawn in to the events almost without choice - being reactive rather than proactive. But when he does make a choice, his efforts yield big results. I especially like the speech he made to his class.

I love the way this teaches kids to be involved in what they are passionate about. They have power and agency to protect the environment and animals around them!
Loved the narrator for this book too
