kind of preachy submitted by camelsamba on June 16, 2012, 9:32pm It seems to me that all of the Geronimo Stilton books have gaps and holes in the story and this is no exception. But those gaps don't seem to bother my 8yo and he is more of the target audience, so take that as you will. This one also suffers from being overly preachy on the environmental front. I'm quite committed to environmental causes, so it's not the cause I mind so much as the "hit me over the head with a 2-by-4" approach to the cause that comes out in the climax. Give kids a little more respect - they don't need it to be that blatant.
