The Movie submitted by khoffman on July 26, 2011, 3:40pm The Movie was good

Okay submitted by jarroyo on July 26, 2011, 8:02pm This movie was okay. If you like the Harry Potter movies then you'll like this. This type of movie isn't really my style, so it was just okay to me.

One of my favorites submitted by camelsamba on July 27, 2011, 9:42pm This is my favorite of the first 6 HP movies. It stays relatively true to the book, without cutting too much of the essential action to move the plot forward.

Pretty good submitted by marisal on July 29, 2011, 10:43am This one of my favorite movies besides the very last one.

amazing submitted by shailu on August 1, 2011, 3:13pm must watch

Read the books first submitted by ferdoble on August 2, 2011, 5:41pm These are ok. I was hard on them at first because of the corny computer animation and what I thought were bad decisions on what to put in (and I still feel that way). Not to mention that its hard to find good actors in the 10 and 11 range.

But the movies get better and better and all the way to being pretty good. To the point where I now look forward to watching the last of them. Well, not really looking forward to the last of them, it was too sad a book for me to really want to see the movie.

If I can say one thing it’s that you should read the books first. The real magic is in those books, I think that you’ll miss out on a lot if you do it the other way round.

And neither of the actors playing Dumbledoor got it right. I’m not sure if a human could, but neither one of them even got close.

<3 submitted by ekgolden on August 2, 2011, 7:23pm though its not my favorite harry potter movie, its still really really good!

awesome submitted by Julia Lee on August 3, 2011, 1:23pm THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE!

Good submitted by Marc8 on August 10, 2011, 9:24am awsome movie

good, but read the books first submitted by jkl on August 10, 2011, 3:59pm You should really read the books first, it will let you imagine things on you own! I really liked this movie it was one of the better ones in the series, with a great plot (duh), decent special effects and really good acting. Seemed like some of the important parts were missing but it's kinda hard to fit everything in.

cool submitted by smiley1 on August 15, 2011, 5:09pm SUPER GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT! submitted by esgzn1 on August 17, 2011, 9:30am So far I like the series of the books and movies!!!! And this one seems to be the best(so far)!!!!!!

great movie submitted by jszchen on August 18, 2011, 9:08pm I love all the harry potter's film

Harry Potter submitted by Homa Torab on August 25, 2011, 9:02pm Great movie. I would recommend reading the book first.

Great! submitted by mrsaturns on June 16, 2012, 11:36am This is one of the best. Harry meets his godfather and is able to help him escape from jail. This foreshadows to later books and gives Harry another adult he can trust.

Nice! submitted by leehannah on June 17, 2012, 6:21pm I really liked this movie because it has some horror to it. I don't really like scary movies that much, but I have to say that I definitely enjoyed this one. I really liked the 2nd book of the series, so I would recommend reading it before you watch this movie. The book was okay, but I personally think that the movie was actually better.

omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! submitted by morganf on June 18, 2012, 10:37am awesome

scary submitted by charlottebatra on June 18, 2012, 11:13am scary

SO COOL submitted by yafei on July 25, 2013, 5:50pm One of my favorite movies ever!!! Best part was when Harry and Hermione took a trip with the Time Turner-it was even more so amazing than portrayed in the book, which definitely doesn't happen often!

good submitted by kellen on August 10, 2013, 8:53am i loved it

HP3 submitted by SBNB on June 24, 2014, 1:02pm Great movie! Possibly my favorite Harry Potter installment.

Favorite submitted by Natasha806 on June 27, 2014, 10:01am This book out of the series is my personal favorite. :)

Woo hoo submitted by karinnet on July 25, 2014, 4:40pm Harry Potter one off the BEST MOVIE SERIES OF ALL TIME!

One scary part and also cool part is the changing into the werewolf.

Still amazing, try out OTHER MOVIES AS WELL

Three To Get Lucky submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 27, 2014, 11:39am Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book of the Harry Potter series, so I was quite invested in the potential of the movie version - and I loved it. The feel and look was perfect for the character turning points and the expansion of the world. Gloomy palette, rays of hope, and Hermione hitting Malfoy right in the face. Perfect.

Nice movie. Turning back and forth submitted by tbbrown76 on July 27, 2014, 12:30pm into animal then human is pretty nifty. I miss Sirius.

ok submitted by ifechijie on June 19, 2015, 6:30pm not my favorite

amazing submitted by yslee on June 29, 2015, 8:59pm great movie to the book; i sincerely liked it

pretty good submitted by KAR on July 13, 2015, 9:16am it gets better and better. I really liked the end.

Scary - especially the dementors submitted by EllieN-W on August 30, 2015, 11:27pm Our 8 year old loved the movie (and the book) but it was really pushing her for her to get through this one without having nightmares afterward. The dementors are especially creepy. We are going to wait a few years before we watch the next movie. My daughter thought the movie was scarier than the book.

Sirius and Lupin review by Pookabeara submitted by Jessica Primus on April 21, 2016, 4:56pm Harry Potter Prizaner of Askaban is one of my favorite books becuse, it has scary parts, suprising parts, sad parts, and happy parts. Hermionie Granger, Harry Potter, and Ron Weasly, have to face Sirius Black who is known to have merderd 12 people (muggles) behind his back. He is also known to be Valdamorts most fateful servint. But when Harry, Ron, and Hermionie find there way into the Shirking shack they find out who Sirios Black really is.

I am exited to say I give this book five stars, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I like that Harry and his friends face edvevenchers that you and Harry's friends can scarsly imagin. Read the book to hear more!!!!!!!!!!!

Book is better submitted by kathscot on June 27, 2016, 10:21am I like the actors, but didn't like the treatment of Harry and Sirius' relationship. The book develops it much better.

Prisoner of Azkaban submitted by staceylbrockman on July 16, 2016, 1:37pm Good movie, one of the best books in the series

Okay submitted by .-.-.-. on June 18, 2017, 8:37am Books are way better

The book submitted by chioma on June 29, 2017, 3:00pm I mean, it was an okay movie, but I definitely think the book was way better. I feel like there are so many small details here and there that were left out, and I'm usually not so picky, but I think this could've been just a little bit better.

Great Film submitted by Meginator on July 13, 2017, 11:02am In book form, "Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban" has a lot of depth, and Alfonso Cuarón does an excellent job of adapting the story to film. This film feels distinctly different from the first two in the series, with the three primary actors finding their feet comfortably for perhaps the first time. Cuarón plants plenty of hints at the darkness to come, yet the film retains a lighter spirit that befits its early place in the series. Some details are left out here and there, but such is the nature of adaptation; with the exception of some elements that have been left out of the series entirely, I didn't think anything egregious was missing here. The story hums along nicely without feeling as rushed as in some of the other films in the series. All told, this is one of the better Harry Potter films.

My favorite of the series submitted by MelCat6 on July 21, 2017, 3:45pm I love this series, and this is my favorite book of all, so of course I was really excited to have this movie, too!

The best! submitted by accountsfpd on August 12, 2017, 10:09am The whole Harry Potter series is the best!

Great submitted by khamidi on August 17, 2017, 6:28pm This was one of my favorite Movies. It was scary at some parts but not terrrifying.

5 of 5 stars. submitted by cullerth on July 12, 2018, 1:45pm This remains my favorite movie adaptation of the series. It's the only one that Alfonso Cuarón directed, and I personally thought that his darker, quirkier style brought so much to bear against J.K. Rowling's original telling of the story. It was a great marriage of artistry. (The shrunken heads were his idea!)

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 12:19am It felt out of sync with the other movies, but was still exceptional.

A good movie! submitted by SadieRose on August 16, 2018, 1:23pm It's a real treat!

Great submitted by anacoluthon on August 20, 2018, 1:47am This one definitely has a different tone than the first two, but immensely enjoyable.

Azkaban submitted by elizabeth mayhew on August 23, 2018, 1:30am Definitely darker and egdier than the first two, but it fits! 10/10 will watch again

Great addition to the series! submitted by Xris on August 26, 2018, 1:18am Love how they depicted the dementors in this movie! They are so creepy! And I love that we get to meet someone from Harry's past.

so amazing submitted by WiseRaven on August 26, 2018, 7:08pm i watched this for the hundredth time with my friends at a sleepover and it is such an amazing movie. would recommend to everyone

Where the movies transform submitted by valjean on August 27, 2018, 1:16am This is the first movie where you can tell, 'they knew they were going to make Huge Blockbusters now.' The first two movies are simply set to be expensive adaptations, but here on in, their budgets start to explode and they become huge star-studded extravaganzas. It helps that Gary Oldman brings absolute mastery and nails being Sirius Black. He keeps you so invested in the movies from here on in, and really nails the tone and feel of the Harry Potter franchise all in one character.

Ok submitted by ijisaman on June 24, 2019, 9:34pm The books are better.

Good submitted by c_zhang on June 29, 2019, 12:51am This is my favorite of the first 6 HP movies. It stays relatively true to the book, without cutting too much of the essential action to move the plot forward. However, the book was still better.

Amazing submitted by Pooh3238 on July 10, 2019, 11:42pm All the Harry Potter movies are great. This was one of the best.

good submitted by liqian on August 2, 2019, 3:39pm this is one of my favorite harry potter movies

Harry Potter submitted by Clown81 on August 25, 2019, 11:46am Witchcraft.

Nice movie submitted by Gamera on August 18, 2021, 3:31pm This is A really good movie!

PU Harry Potter You Stink submitted by Shaylane Webb on June 27, 2022, 8:51pm Harry Potter You Stink Like Crazy With Your Movies They Are Gross.

This is my favorite! submitted by Abbie D. on June 29, 2022, 10:36am The directing style is completely different from the previous two movies. There's so much more energy from the actors and some awesome transition shots! There are definitely a few plot holes if you didn't read the books, but the overall story is great and doesn't stray too much from the original.

The best! submitted by wilcomea on July 19, 2022, 3:49pm The plot of this one is perfect! It sets so much up for future movies as it starts to become darker.

Great adaptation submitted by melissa4b on June 27, 2023, 10:11pm I will always love the books more, but I love watching the movies!!

HP 3 submitted by NiBo on July 1, 2023, 3:54pm Great movie. Fun to watch. The book is better, but the book is almost always better.

great submitted by tarzan5411 on July 7, 2023, 10:30pm matches the book!
