A human baby accidently ends up at the North Pole and grows up among the elf community. Buddy, as he comes to be known, knows that he's "special". When he's 30, Buddy learns from Santa that he's really a human. He decides to go in search of his father, to find out where he belongs. He walks to Manhattan, and is immediately run over by a cab. His father at first rejects him and Buddy ends up in a department store where other elves are working. But all the while, things are looking bad for Santa Claus. When Santa crashes his sleigh in Central Park, it's Buddy's moment to shine.

Smiling is my favorite

This movie will definitely make you smile. It's become a Christmas classic around our house. It has some great lines and will make you really excited for the holidays. And it'll make you want sugar. Lots and lots of sugar....

This is a really funny movie! It's for young and old alike, and it's a great movie to get you into the holiday spirit.

This movie was moderately entertaining and also moderately annoying. I saw it once and have no desire to see it again.

Very silly
This is about a human (Buddy) who was adopted by an elf and grew up in the north pole.
It is a journey of how Buddy finds his real dad and his dads new family, and how together they save christmas.

Seriously funny

Watching Will Ferrell zoom around as Buddy is hilarious. His cheer is just infectious as a character that people really don't take seriously.

I am not a Will Ferrell fan, but I loved this movie.

so funny

Loved it!

The Best!

My favorite christmas movie ever. Will Ferrell is excellent as a human raised as an elf that has never left the north pole. Its a feel good movie that can be enjoyed by the entire family.

Just Dumb

Be ready to laugh

Really funny, especially if you've visited or lived in New York City. Don't miss this one if you like funny and wonderfully silly movies!

happy sugar christmas times

I love this movie! A Christmas can't go by without me watching it. Will Ferrell is hilarious as overgrown Buddy the elf. His awe upon landing in NYC and lapping up every minutes is funny and priceless. Best cup of coffee. The mailroom scene. How he decorates everywhere he goes with SO MUCH XMAS. It's not just about silliness, syrup, Santa, and sleigh bells, there's a moral here. It's about believing!

A Ridiculously funny film with a fun twist on christmas. A must-watch movie.
