Hugh Laurie (Wooster), Stephen Fry (Jeeves).
Intent on escaping the clutches of his indomitable Aunt Agatha and the perpetual threat of wedlock, Bertie once again flees his native England for New York accompanied, as ever, by the unflappable Jeeves. Yet even the waters of the Atlantic cannot keep the witless Wooster safe, and he is soon up to his ears in a frightful tangle of wayward cousins, stolen babies, unwanted engagements and even -- heaven forbid -- his domineering aunt.

Hilarious!
submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 21, 2012, 10:52am
Bertie Wooster (played by Hugh Laurie of "House" in his real, British accent) is a wealthy, aristocratic playboy in 1920s Britain who is always getting into trouble with his friends. His valet, or gentleman's gentleman, Jeeves (played by Laurie's best friend Stephen Fry of "Kingdom") saves the day every time, including saving Wooster from some disasterous marriages.
This season, Wooster and Jeeves visit the United States, which is in the midst of Prohibition, and hilarity abounds.
The series is generally very funny but does include the sexism, classism and racism of the era.
