COMMUNITY REVIEWS

fine submitted by lekendrick on July 1, 2010, 4:57pm well plotted of interesting idea more movie than film itself! Mandy moore & macaulay culkin turn in fine performances a document produced by even michael stipe the studio system at its very best!

Rare Class submitted by Meginator on July 3, 2011, 12:59pm Though "Saved!" is undeniably satirical in nature, what I find most impressive about the movie is its respect for Christianity and for the worldview that drives many of its characters. I think it's really easy for people to typecast evangelicals and those who attend religious high schools and place them all into a mold; this movie shows the folly of such thinking and showcases the wide variety of opinions within the community. Mandy Moore and Macaulay Culkin turn in surprisingly great performances, and the whole movie drips with a sarcastic humor that can engage teenagers and help deliver its story to its key audience. "Saved!" doesn't exactly go easy on the object of its satirical sword, but it has a surprisingly warm heart beneath a falsely rigid exterior, and is worth a viewing for Christians and non-Christians alike. I hope it becomes a cult classic.

Funny Movie submitted by andreahubert on June 27, 2012, 9:56pm This movie attempts to treat the characters with respect, but some of their actions seem questionable. However, the actions of the teenage characters are very real and fun to watch, although a bit sarcastic at times.
