Mo Willems lays his whimsical illustrations on top of black and white photographs of the neighborhood and locations in the story.

funny submitted by ssands on August 16, 2013, 2:30pm Parents will recognize the utter horror that grips the whole family when the toddler loses her favorite stuffed animal. Also the toddler's repertoire of non verbal tricks to make her anguish known were hilariously familiar.

The pictures, the wondering if Knufflebunny will be found, the taking turns deciding who gets to put the money in the washing machine w Trixie. They also randomly quote Trixie, shouting “Aggle flaggle klabble!” Super fun!
