Need a friend like moose.. submitted by rimpopu on August 12, 2012, 8:53pm Everyone needs a friend like Moose. The book has two stories in one. In the first part Moose wants to go fishing with his friend Mouse but Mouse is too busy writing a poem. Moose doesn't give up, he brings his friend food and cleans up his yard. At this point Mouse appears ungrateful and rude. However we soon learn that all that time he was writing a poem about his friend Moose. The second part is about a camping trip that the two friends take. Mouse isn't too excited about it. When it is time to pitch a camp, unbeknownst to Moose, he leads them back to his own backyard. Read the book to see how Moose reacts to that. It has nice illustrations and makes a good reader for kids who have just started reading on their own. It also makes a good night time reading.
