Good wordless book submitted by rea2mill on July 19, 2022, 3:13pm This wasn’t the most exciting wordless book I’ve encountered, but if the excerpt I found in the book about Mercer Mayer being one of the pioneers of wordless books is true, then it’s pretty darn good considering he had no template to follow. And it looks like there are a ton of others besides One Frog Too Many in the catalog, so clearly when he started making these it launched a demand for more.
This is also the kind of wordless book that your kid doesn’t even need your help to understand or enjoy so even if the story isn’t super exciting from my perspective as a grown up, it’s the perfect book to hand to a kid that’s not reading yet.
