COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Despite Post-Detroit Material, Still Essential submitted by John J. Madonna on January 14, 2008, 4:19pm The CD starts with Please Mr. Postman, one of the first hits for the Detroit label and finished with Boyz II Men and Michael McDonald, hits for some L.A. calling themselves Motown. I'm not going to mince words, I don't care for maybe the last seven tracks, but the reason why this is essential is that it is one of the few collections to feature these tracks in glorious stereo. Some may argue for the purity of mono, but why not have both versions of at least a few songs?
