Ahhhh, Italy

"A Room With a View" is a charming and delightful book and this is a well-done and worthy adaptation. The performances are lovely and the cast list is a Who's Who of great British actors. Helena Bonham Carter, in her break-out role, is sweet, Julian Sands is dreamy, Judi Dench is hilarious and Daniel Day-Lewis is barely recognizable as a clumsy suitor. The story and scenery will sweep you along until true love prevails with a romantic Italian aria playing in the background.
