Odd Miyazaki submitted by Jan Wolter on July 8, 2013, 8:57am I think this is an earlier Miyazaki, where he had less creative control and used characters from a pre-existing series. The animation is simpler than in later movies, but this story of a virtuous thief is inventive, funny and thoroughly entertaining. Lot's of standard Miyazaki business here, including his obsession with odd aircraft.
