Cheerful and Imaginative
Secondhand Lions is about an unwilling young boy foisted off on his unwilling pair of great-uncles, and how they come to love each other. The boy's mother believes the uncles have a fortune hidden away somewhere and she wants her boy to get his hands on it for her. The boy is uninterested. The actors in this film take a somewhat ridiculous plot and make it charming. If you're looking for a fun family-friendly movie, maybe give this one a try.
