Mouse Romance and Courage submitted by Jan Wolter on July 15, 2013, 6:11pm I love this movie, and I love the Rescue Aid Society - an organization of mice banded together not to defend themselves against cats or some such other selfish goal, but in the aid of others in need. As their charming anthem says, "In a fix, in a bind, call on us, anytime. We'll appear from nowhere, mighty are we."

Of course, when a call does come, everyone naturally turns to the charming and courageous Miss Bianca to actually do the job. Oh, and, she'll need a helper, so, um, er, how about that lovestruck janitor mouse, Bernard? So off they go, Miss Bianca providing the inspiration, and Bernard providing pretty much everything else, in his awkward quest for Miss Bianca's heart. What can such a pair of mice not accomplish?

One of my favorite classics submitted by Xris on June 26, 2018, 8:27pm I had a recording of the movie that I would listen to over and over again, on the reel to reel tape player my parents had! (I'm old!) I loved that the mice, who were small, could do so much to save the little girl!! And Bob Newhart and Eva Gabor were great voices for the mice! Love it!
