forever fave submitted by jgzhang on July 26, 2014, 11:25pm I first read this when I was about 12, but it will forever be one of my favorite novels. The whole series is a fascinating reinvention of ancient Greco-Egyptian culture and mythology. Intriguing plot, magnificent world-building, and dynamic characters. Fisher's prose is very good, too. Recommended for sure!
