Good submitted by betsywil on August 18, 2017, 3:36pm This is an excellent biography - though it may not be a beach read...

Lin-Manuel Miranda thought it was a beach read. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 29, 2019, 7:43pm It took me a couple of months to read this book. I was inspired after hearing Miranda talk about the book. I found it a difficult read, but highly educational and erudite. I recommend it only for serious history or Hamilton fans.

Excellent submitted by Cihendricks on August 9, 2019, 1:14pm Maybe it's not YOUR idea of a beach read, but it's definitely a good read. I really enjoyed it. That said, you have to really like history and be motivated to get through the whole thing.

Alexander Hamilton submitted by Varshini on August 30, 2019, 9:20pm I really enjoyed reading this book. I learned a lot about Alexander Hamilton, and I improved my history knowledge!

So interesting! submitted by PharmRach on August 12, 2020, 10:27pm Chock full of really interesting details, I learned so much more about American history than ever before. It is so long that I never made it through (hoping I’ll finish sometime), but I read at least 2/3 of it and found it to be really eye opening! Understanding our nations origins has helped me see why we face the challenges that we do today. I highly recommend this to any ambitious reader.
