Buffy is in LA hiding from her friends, family and destiny, but she is forced to face what she is. Buffy then returns to Sunnydale for her senior year to a less-than-welcoming reception. A new Slayer, Faith, comes to Sunnydale, then Angel returns from Hell. Faith's new Watcher comes to town, Spike also returns, but without Drusilla. The gang finds out Angel is back, and Buffy's been keeping him to herself. Buffy's 18th birthday means a secret test by the Watcher's Council, then she gets a new Watcher. Faith initiates an alliance with the dark side, and brings the Mayor into her plans. As graduation approaches, the gang all face decisions about their futures, but those plans are put on hold for graduation day, when Buffy is forced to battle Faith with Angel's life in the balance.

The Ripper submitted by brady.emmett on July 29, 2011, 12:29pm Season Three of Buffy was a very interesting season. I have very mixed feelings about it. The actors really hit their stride, and there are some interesting and fun new characters to add to the mix (Wesley and Anya, mostly). At the same time, I never really got the Mayor's motivation in all of this, and Faith just spreads chaos wherever she goes. Overall, it was a strong season.

This disk has some of the best episodes in the seaon on it. The SlayerFest98 in Homecoming was a hoot, and seeing Giles and Joyce in Band Candy was just to die for. You are in for a treat if you watch this disk.

Hits Its Stride submitted by chuntoon on June 30, 2012, 11:27pm Season three is where Buffy hits its stride (and it manages to stay awesome for several more seasons). This disc offers up the hilarious Band Candy (an episode where the adults of Sunnydale lose all sense of responsibility) and the wonderful return of Spike in Lover's Walk. Good stuff.
