The duo of Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins is an all-timer in terms of sheer songwriting talent, and the songs they created together stand the test of time. Relatively simple in style and structure, these tracks are anchored by inventive percussion and succeed because of their strong melodic hooks. The band is equally effective at upbeat songs and ballads, and every track has its own memorable qualities.
