did not like

I could not get into this movie

Lost in Translation

A great movie about a man who goes to Japan for a job and meets a young girl along the way.

Great

A different role for Bill Murray but he was very effective. An interesting take on the cultural differences between Japan and the US. Very entertaining.

Orange

I really liked it. I think there was a lot of realistic emotion in the performances. Being on one's own in a foreign country can be surprisingly lonely and familiar language is often enough to strike up a relationship. I also thought their evening excursions were quite fun.

Not my favorite

I did not find "Lost in Translation" very interesting. Not the best performance Bill Murray has done, but not horrible. I think the most interesting part of the movie was that it is set in Tokyo and therefore seeing the culture differences and the characters interacting was at times humorous. I probably will not watch this movie again.
