COMMUNITY REVIEWS
French film at its best
submitted by amswenson on April 14, 2009, 10:51am
L'homme du train is not for action-movie lovers. This one is for people who enjoy a long afternoon with a glass or two of a good, full-bodied red at a street cafe while watching the human traffic, both seated and passing. Superb dialogue. The very opposite of the quick little English film filled with double entendre and word play. This film is for the thinker, maybe even the ruminative, the eavesdropper, the lover of secret human passions.
And it's one that wears well. Borrowing it is only the first step to including it in your library.
