COMMUNITY REVIEWS

For Vigilant Citizens submitted by OldMikie on January 3, 2015, 6:30pm Economics 101 is not a fun subject. Sowell's book is a tough read. I am a tree hugging dirt loving liberal. Sowell is a fan of free market capitalist economies. Basic Economics should be required reading for folk trying to figure out how things should work. The book is about how things should work in a free market society. It is up to the reader to decide how close we are or are not. Sowell does a nice job of explaining the basic processes without (at least I could not tell) taking sides, "Just the facts", that is valuable in trying to figure out WTF?
