Seven college housemates from the 1960s who have drifted apart reunite at the funeral of a friend. Having entered adulthood as non-conformists, most now belong to the establishment. Stunned by the death of their peer, sensing their own mortality and the loss of their innocence, each takes the opportunity to reevaluate his or her life and re-establish their bonds.

LOVE THIS MOVIE! submitted by kkachado on January 30, 2010, 2:17pm Love the actors, the story and the setting. I lived in Beaufort when they filmed this movie, knew then it would be a good movie. If you are a boomer - see this movie!

Life and Death submitted by kathleen824 on August 13, 2012, 1:05pm It is interesting how the death of another creates the need to review ones own life choices. Here, friends gather and and the telling of tales begins. Well done.

Great soundtrack submitted by Zekicmom on June 18, 2013, 2:39pm An enjoyable movie with a great cast and great music. However, I now know a lot of people who went to U of M and were expecting to make their own "Big Chill" group of friends.
