Read by Jeff McCarthy.
In the decade since women began giving birth to a new human species, Homo sapiens novus, the world has been engulfed in political, medical, and social turmoil as these "new" humans battle for survival in a world populated by people who feel threatened by this leap of evolution and will do anything to prevent these special children from growing up.
Compact discs.
COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Maybe the unabridged version is better? submitted by TraxAttack on June 25, 2014, 8:07pm I thought this science fiction book had some interesting ideas: a generation of children genetically altered by 'ancient retroviruses' but the conclusion seemed so hasty and there didn't seem to be much resolution for the characters. I would skip this version.
