COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Still worthwhile submitted by Sonia on June 29, 2011, 5:45pm While this one isn't as good as the first it still has a good plot line. Neo and trinity's relationship is also explored further.

GREAT! submitted by Pareenaz9 on July 10, 2011, 11:13am This movie was great although i kind of liked the first one better...

good submitted by jszchen on August 18, 2011, 9:35pm This gives you a better feel for what the matrix is. - interesting

Alright submitted by ima_rom on July 15, 2012, 5:17am Alright sequal.

matrix reloaded submitted by a2sue on August 2, 2013, 8:56am this is an ok sequel, but i much prefer the first film in the series

Ok submitted by crazypockets on August 2, 2013, 7:10pm The first one was what really blew all of us away, so the second one had to be a little bit of a let down. I still enjoyed it though. The CGI looks fairly dated now, but it's still an important part of the trilogy.

Good submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 11:58am Nothing could have topped the first film, but the second came close. The bit about "causality" was a much needed explanation to the Matrix mythology. But it should have stopped here. Revolutions over-explained and spent too much time on Agent Smith, attempting to fill the need to emphasis a single villan.

Reloaded submitted by SBNB on July 17, 2014, 10:30pm It's not bad, but you should only watch it if you are familiar with The Matrix.

awesome submitted by leelaG on June 16, 2015, 8:46am i loved it when they fought. we would rewind the fights in slow motion and it was funny how they were backward fighting and flying backwards and stuuff :P

Okay film submitted by ishhewitt on July 14, 2016, 6:06pm Still worth a watch if for nothing than the fight scene in the entryway of the mansion. And the twins.

Good submitted by dahyatt on July 16, 2018, 8:21pm This was an enjoyable movie. A good followup to the original Matrix movie.

My personal favorite, but a bit of a scattered movie. submitted by valjean on August 27, 2018, 1:10am You can really see how this movie is a pivot to try and create a bigger world and setting for the Matrix. If you can, watch the Animatrix (unfortunately, not available at the AADL) first. This will help ease you into what this movie sets out to do. Then, just sit back and enjoy the (a little bit random) cool fight and action scenes they set up for the movie.

Womp womp submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 6:14pm This is a definite down slide from the original movie. It might not be worth your time to watch this or the third one.

The second two in the series don't hold up submitted by jessNU on August 31, 2018, 10:52pm effects that were groundbreaking now look kind of stale
