Probably the worse of the series

This is probably the worse Olivia book that I have read to my 5 year old. The story seems disjointed and seems to go in different directions without proper closure. Olivia demands her mom make her a new sports uniform because she doesn't like her team color. When her mom is done sewing a new one and show her that uniform, Olivia instead of saying anything about the uniform or thanking her mom, suddenly is looking for her toy. What?! How did she jump to that. When, at last, she finds her favorite toy, it is dismembered. Ouch! That kind of scared my kid. Her dog had destroyed it. Her has this huge scary shadow which is completely unnecessary for this story as nothing else creepy or scary takes place other than that. Olivia is shown as bratty and very demanding like a two year old but she is shown as sewing her toy back. That is an age conflict there. This book just did work for me or my little one. The illustrations are not impressive either unless you like black and white with some splash of red now and then.

one of my favorites

This is one of my favorite Olivia books - I think the ending is really sweet!
