COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Good story, terrible production values submitted by mdbowen on June 20, 2012, 9:38am Neverwhere is an excellent story, and the parts are well cast. However, this was obviously was made with a very small budget. I've seen older Doctor Who, and the production values are on par with that. However, if you can, try to get past how it looks and just enjoy the story. Writer Neil Gaiman provides commentary on the episodes, and it's worth listening to.

London Below submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on July 30, 2013, 4:10pm For those who like the grand imagery of "American Gods," "Neverwhere" is also a look at the deeper levels of human life and where we live. This 1996 TV series is a based on the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman.

The series tells the story of Richard Mayhew, who takes in a homeless girl over his fiancee's protests. As a result of his kind act, he becomes part of the parallel "London Below," a landscape and supernatural community that exists near the "London Above" of which he had been a part in his daily life until then. Indeed, to those in "London Above," including his former co-workers, he has ceased to exist, although he can still see and hear them. Now he must help save the homeless girl, Door, from assassins and hopefully save his own soul in the process.

Holds Up submitted by majean on August 9, 2018, 6:04pm Aside from that cow-beast, which probably didn't work then, I felt this movie held up over time. And I heard there is a sequel coming...
