too weird for me submitted by klsyking on August 16, 2011, 9:08am I really like fantasy books, but this one was way too weird for me.

A serious but fictious look Paganism submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 23, 2012, 4:50pm A fascinating tale about the Old Gods directly connecting, communicating and affecting the life of one modern-day man. The book incorporates a lot of old stories and legends as well as themes from ancient myths. It is fiction, but it provides much food for thought about sprituality and takes modern Paganism seriously.

Creative submitted by priestlr on June 16, 2013, 8:18pm Gaiman once again shows his talent for creativity, and gift of compelling story telling. I would have to say this book is not for young fans of his books Coraline or The Graveyard book.

don't like submitted by nicenora2371 on July 12, 2013, 3:58pm don't like books that talk about gods

American Gods submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 4:25am This is absolutely gripping when it is being read to you.

Good submitted by zmclaugh on July 25, 2019, 8:27am A good idea and interesting plot, but the main character is rather forgettable.
