COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Ford and Jones submitted by kathscot on July 27, 2016, 9:13pm Excellent performances and an interesting story. Plenty of action.

Still great decades later! submitted by KOH on August 2, 2017, 3:52pm This movie totally holds up over time. Good action, mysterious twists, excellent performances from HF and TLJ. Give it a watch!

a compelling story submitted by yufamily on August 25, 2019, 7:48pm Harrison at his finest

Holds up well submitted by brooksza on August 21, 2023, 12:11am This cat-and-cat movie rocked. I hadn't seen it in forever and felt that it really held up. I felt like it had very little fat on it, even for a 2+ hour movie. The score is perfect, I've never seen the TV show but I would assume it borrows some from the theme song. The music feels like a TV procedural but better.

The editing is really effective, especially during the prologue to set things up.

Sam's character is iconic and stands out. I don't know if TLJ should have won the oscar for the performance but the character is great. Tons of random actors including Jane Lynch, Julianne Moore, and Rose and Dr Arzt from Lost.

There's some cheese and plot convenience but this movie still hummed really well. And some of my favorite Chicago accents since the SNL superfans.
