Do you like funny books? Then read Amelia Bedelia 4 Mayor by Herman Parish. Amelia Bedelia runs for mayor. She gets mixed up with what people say. For example, at the start of the book when her boss Mr. Rogers said, “Amelia, you should run for the mayor’s office,” Amelia ran to the mayor’s office. Read on to see what else happens.
I give this book five stars because I like funny books. It’s about politics. There was a debate. I liked how it happened between Amelia and Mayor Thomas. I liked when they were talking about running for president. The drawings were clear. I recommend this book to 4-12 year olds.
