Bridget Jones Meets Tony Bourdain
This was a very quick read....a combination of chick lit. (think "Bridget Jones Diary") and "Kitchen Confidential". The main character did way too much whining, but I did like the author's insights into the restaurant business, the colorful characters, and the humor.
The format put me off a bit - there aren't any chapters, it's all one big long run-on story with those little text dividers every few pages. It needed more structure.
