A Light In The Attic submitted by SBNB on July 2, 2012, 6:35pm Where The Sidewalk Ends is my favorite book of poems by Shel Silverstein, but A Light In The Attic is also great. The poems are funny and memorable. Really, every kid should read this book.

Rockin' submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on June 30, 2015, 11:18pm A Light In The Attic is one of Silverstein's best collections of poetry. I have a special place in my heart for "Rock 'N' Roll Band" - the perfectly captured daydreaming and, yes, pathos.

But like Where The Sidewalk Ends and others of his, it appeals to all ages with its dynamic, scribbly illustrations and many poems that just beg to be shared aloud.

Wonderful submitted by majean on August 8, 2018, 7:15pm So many good poems in this one, including "Whatif" and "This Bridge."
