great submitted by sauerr on August 17, 2011, 2:42pm this is a hilarious movie. for beatles fans and people who are not

Iconic submitted by crazypockets on July 15, 2013, 3:29pm This movie is so funny; a lot of it is slapstick and silly, but there are also some very witty one-liners. It's a great reminder to not take life too seriously and to not let the system get you down. And of course, the music is...well, it's the Beatles. What more can you say? If you have ever wondered what was so great about them, or if you are looking to introduce someone to them, or if you just want to remember for yourself, this is your movie.

Madcap goofiness, yet groundbreaking submitted by doctorfang on August 2, 2015, 6:48pm This movie is full of silliness, but has moments of great wit, often thanks to the delivery of the Beatles themselves (who play themselves in the movie). The movie masterfully captures the life of the Beatles in 1964, being trapped in a train, then a car, then a hotel room, then a car, then a studio, etc. One of the best scenes is the Beatles sneaking away from their manager for some extreme silliness running around in a field without abandon. The scene would not work of not for the wit and charisma of the Beatles themselves. The art direction is spectacular, as well.
