Pretty Good submitted by mysterio on June 27, 2012, 1:57am Compared to the third and second Spiderman films, I thought this one was pretty good. It had all of the elements a good superhero movie should have.

Good Movie submitted by jarroyo on July 27, 2012, 6:41pm I thought this was a good movie. There was a good amount of action and romance. If you like superhero movies then you will like this.

NICE TRY. submitted by loving jinny on August 9, 2012, 4:39pm NICE TRY.

amazing submitted by vadnala on June 14, 2013, 2:03pm kind of old now...but still a great movie even with the reboot. the new spiderman just doesn't seem like this one

Good submitted by crazypockets on July 13, 2013, 12:14pm I still like this version. Tobey Maguire is cute as Peter Parker, and I like Kirstin Dunst as Mary Jane. It's comic-booky and kind of cheesy, but that's part of the fun.

Best one submitted by Drake Emmitt on August 15, 2014, 12:56am This is my favorite remake of spiderman movie so far.

Awful submitted by ishhewitt on July 10, 2016, 2:29pm Tobey Maguire please no. No more. This line of reboots was awful.

Spider-Man submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 3:33am I love Toby in this role!

Green Goblin did NOT kill Uncle Ben. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 21, 2019, 12:20am It was when Spidey was a Big Time Wrestler and he ignored a crime. Other than that, it's pretty cool with the special effects.
Recommended.

Tobey submitted by jayzwack on July 25, 2019, 3:54pm I like Willem Dafoe but the Green Goblin comes off like a joke. Tobey Maguire is classic and the story is fun.

Green govlin submitted by pepemama on July 27, 2019, 10:20am Really gross looking and lane

Toby maguire submitted by Aimless on August 6, 2019, 10:27pm What a strange choice for the leading man.

Superman seems boring in comparison submitted by crp on August 24, 2019, 10:48pm Movie 1 of the Spider-Man movies is quite possibly the best; food acting and storyline

Pretty great! submitted by ValerieL on June 28, 2022, 6:52pm I've never really been into superheroes or their movies, but my boyfriend likes them so I'm starting to see more of them. I loved this first Spider-Man. I thought the storyline was great. Tobey Maguire seems like a perfect choice to me for this character. He's got the loveable, affiable side that seems a little nerdy, but gets along with most people. And then his alter ego where he fights for justice and to try and make up for his uncle's death. I loved the scene where he fell asleep after being bitten and woke up with more muscles and skills. I wish I could do that, but I'd rather skip the spider bite!

yes submitted by yazied on August 14, 2022, 5:28pm good movie

Rewatching Now submitted by APluss on July 6, 2023, 10:28am I hadn't seen this movie in ages, but I'm rewatching now with my six year old. It's his first viewing, and he hasn't been able to look away. It's so fun, and it really follows the comic stories nicely.

tobey submitted by hdbond20 on August 13, 2023, 6:36pm tobey mcguire is hands down the best spiderman
