A character with autism submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 21, 2012, 12:02pm A fascinating science fiction story told from the perspective of a computer scientist who has autism. His boss puts pressure on him to join in an experiement to "cure" the autism and our protagonist, Lou, must plumb his depths to decide if he wants or even needs to be "cured." Meanwhile, Lou must also try to understand why someone would want to kill him. This story shows the depths of disability prejudice in society.
