COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Quite a Yarn submitted by KPNF on July 19, 2018, 9:21am This tall tale is written to follow the tune of the Erie Canal song. I didn’t love the illustrations, but my first grader enjoyed the fantastical parts of the story (e.g. escape by going up the Niagara Falls). Note to parents of youngest readers: these imaginary pirates act like real pirates and threaten death if their demands aren’t met, but you could easily adapt the words on that page.
