This is what I wrote when I first saw it. I am now seeing it again and it seems that poor Jimmy Stewart was miscast. His gray hair and overall middle aged bearing does not agree with the young action champ role he is playing.

This is not the only time nor the worst case of such miscasting. Gary Cooper played roles many decades younger than he looked or than he actually was. Even at the end of his life, when he looked obviously sick (and tired!)
