A Beautiful Poem submitted by Kikumatsu97 on July 23, 2014, 10:31pm Growing up in a multi-racial family, this book was an introduction for us kids to a world of understanding how we are all different, yet the same. A lovely image for anyone.

1970s era multiracial family submitted by willow on August 5, 2015, 5:28am This is a book explicitly dealing with skin color in the context of a multiracial family (white father, black mother). It is not my favorite but if you are looking for direct discussion of the topic, this is a classic! It was the first book to feature a mixed race family, and an edition with new illustrations was published in 2002.
