COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Fantastic submitted by ljq on August 4, 2011, 2:41am Great series of books with lots of good information about the past

Keeping It Rolling submitted by jgerman79 on August 4, 2020, 8:55pm Over the first 4 books in the Kaya series we saw how Kaya's family and Nez Percé lived in each season of the year: salmon run / fishing, berry gathering and hunting, wintering, and the digging season. This book brings us back to salmon run / fishing, but now that Kaya is older and can help more we learn more about how the Nez Percé do what they do at this time. This book (the 5th) also keeps moving away from loss and giving more hope and happiness to Kaya, but does so in a way that honors commitments. Very in line with the 4th book.
