Powerful & helpful submitted by elfchild9 on June 26, 2011, 9:48pm Simple, concise, and absolutely true. I'm very glad I took the time to read this and get a proper kick in the pants on my way through writing a novel. The things that Mr. Pressfield says about Resistance apply not only to writing, but to every aspect of life and learning. Each section is short (often under 1 page), which makes for easy reading in line at the store, or waiting between appointments. He wastes no words and pulls no punches.
This is the Kick you need

This book will not coddle, flatter, or simply entertain you. This is the loud resounding call to action that most artists need. It was for me. It allows no excuses, instead calling them what they truly are: resistance.
Read this repeatedly for best results.
Monologue with Moments of Clarity submitted by sVfGI7Glt2pz7GZgVB90 on June 19, 2020, 5:21pm If you've felt a insight of the person you might become or want to become, the work you could get done, the realized self you were destined to be? If you know what “Resistance” is, read this! Key insight: "It’s not the writing part that’s hard. What’s hard is sitting down to write."
