Romeo + Juliet

I liked it back in the day and I still do. It's really not as bad as the reviews here make it out to be.

A product of its time (and Baz)

What I'm assuming the people who reviewed it above missed is the fact that it was not only a movie but was supposed to be a comment on the 90s/mtv culture etc etc. And for that and for those of us who were 15 at the time, it did well. It was non-challenging, it had guns, it had the dreamboat of the decade and a girl who looked cute dressed as an angel. And we could all relate at all the drug references and think we were hardcore and cool while enjoying a hollywood movie. Don't watch it for R and J, watch it for the glorious movies of the 90s, that were big, brash, colourful and yes, a little bit stupid. I'm off to watch Twister.

We had to read this for school and the movie kinda help me understand what is going on a little better. However, this movie is very odd and overall stupid.

The girl was very odd.

This movie is incredibly stupid the way they "recreate" Verona with two feuding gang families. The way they talk is not believable

I found this movie to be vary ridiculous. Old talking in a modern a world. I found it to be very unenjoyable.
