Engaging submitted by audreyh on June 12, 2015, 1:57pm As always, Pierce has created a fantastic book for readers of any age to enjoy. Kel is a great hero to read about. Her struggle to figure out how to exist as one of the only lady knights will resonate with most readers.
Satisfying conclusion

Pierce concludes her series in a way consistent with character, world and vision. Keladry holds to her values in a crucial moment and triumphs. I find her an inspiring character for the struggles facing modern women and girls.
A Good Read! submitted by leea on July 23, 2023, 8:14pm Doesn't disappoint. We see Kel's character reach maturity paired with human doubts and fears but she works for the betterment of her people anyway. Kel demonstrates heroism we can all aspire to and achieve.its destiny. Can't wait to read more of Pearce's work!
Amazing finale submitted by jminlee on July 27, 2023, 12:07am Satisfactory ending to a great series. We really see Kel take her place as a leader.
